WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co. KG
The CPB3000 pressure balance provides cost-conscious users with a simple, high-precision primary standard (total measuring uncertainty of upto 0.025% of the measured value). The long free-rotation time, in conjunction with a low sink rate, makes problem-free calibration and adjustment possible, not only in the laboratory, but also for on-site applications - aided by the compact dimensions, which remain unchanged throughout operation. The low-friction spindle pump makes handling simple and ergonomic. With the mass discs, stored on top of the base plate, measuring ranges of up to 1000 bar are possible (corresponding psi ranges are optionally available). Due to the high quality of the materials and workmanship, the recommended recalibration cycle is five years. A factory calibration certificate is provided as standard, with an optional DKD calibration certificate also available.

The May issue features a Preview on Europe's biggest measuring technology fair, Sensor+Test 2013. This is supplemented by a Focus on Sensors, Test & Measurement that includes product news, as well as a technical article and an interesting application. Another case study highlights the use of an RFID system in a Chinese engine manufacturing plant. Furthermore, IEN Europe has an article that asks the question Is There a Future for the PLC? . Throughout the magazine, you will also find brand new products launched at the recent HANNOVER MESSE, for example a Motor Control Center for predictive maintenance.
