Equipped with a highly efficient drive and plenty of power in a compact package, the haventic varicon EC fan motor from HANNING delivers fresh air for professional utilized hot air furnaces, steam cookers and other industrial applications. The product line encompasses an entire series of fans with electrically commutated synchronous motors (EC motors). These versatile motors which are designed for power classes ranging from 220 W to 450 W excel in particular as a result of their high power density and their compact package for installation depths between 83 mm and 103 mm. The haventic fan unit consists of a power supply that is separate from the motor and an electronic inverter module directly mounted on the motor. The motor possesses a permanent magnetic rotor with embedded rare earth magnets and a single tooth winding. Versions with cylindrical or conical shafts are also possible for customer-specific requirements. The drives are activated using a sensorless vector control algorithm.

All haventic drives are equipped with stainless steel fan wheels. The material used can withstand temperatures up to 350 °C as well as extreme temperature changes due to cold water. The electronic module does not comprise any heat-sensitive components and is designed to withstand ambient temperatures up to 70 °C. The integrated interface (CAN/MOD bus/analog/digital) supports quick access to the drive unit's settings and control parameters. The main input with rectifier and interference suppressors is located on a separate component. As an option, oven-side peripheral circuits like the heating actuator or electromagnetic valves can be integrated here as well.
