The IDS Gigabit-Ethernet board-level GigE uEye LE camera series is now also available with the high-resolution 5 Megapixel CMOS sensor from Aptina. With its A-Pix technology the sensor offers an outstanding image quality and enhanced sensitivity of 30 %. Due to a resolution of 2560 x1920 pixel and best-in-class image quality the new models are an ideal choice for microscopy but also for demanding industrial inspection and machine vision environments. The high bandwidth of GigE allows easy integration into multi-camera systems. With a size of 45 x 45 the camera is one of the most compact boardlevel Gigabit-Ethernet cameras in the market. The cameras offer flexibility in all industrial environments thanks to their space-saving design and maximum cable lengths of up to 100 meters. The cameras also offer easy integration due to trigger, flash, two general purpose I/Os and an I2C-Bus for controlling external devices. An internal image memory of 60 MB for decoupling image acquisition and transfer make the camera the perfect choice for all industrial applications. The camera is also available with either M12 lens holder for inexpensive S mount lenses or a CS lens mount.
