Developed by Aremco products, the Corr-Paint CP2060 abrasion and corrosion resistant, high temperature coating can be used to protect steel components and structures in demanding industrial applications to 260 °C. It provides high adhesion to marginally prepared metal surfaces and is resistant to a wide range of chemicals including acetic acid, jet fuel, alcohols, diesel fuel, gasoline, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, phosphoric acid, potassium chloride, toluene and xylene. The two part, silicon carbide filled, 100% solids, epoxy-novolac coating provides good thermal shock, salt spray, and UV resistance. It mixes to a thick paste and is applied using a trowel or spatula. The coating sets and cures fully at room temperature in 24h. Typical film thickness is 1,27 mm.
