Signal Converters

Weidmüller introduces communication-enabled signal converters. Equipped with an Ethernet interface these modules can be imbedded in existing Ethernet structures. In addition to typical functions such as signal acquisition, conditioning, standardization and output, these Ethernet enabled signal converters also provide extensive diagnostic functions for more process transparency. Thanks to Ethernet based communications all diagnostic data will be transmitted from a signal converter to the master terminal or the engineering system. The diagnostic data generate an exact image of the device, the sensor and the process.
