It is often necessary to pack devices belonging to a product line in housing which has the same design characteristics but variable dimensions. That's why Fischer Elektronik is now offering its customers universal shell housing with selectable dimensions for this and many other applications. The new SGV housing consists of two aluminium half-shells (2 mm thickness) which are interconnected with the help of inside flaps and special self-clinching fasteners. The sockets with M3 threads are permanently integrated in the lower shell and used for direct assembly to a circuit board or mounting panel. To assemble support rails according to DIN EN 50022, it is possible to supplement SGV housing with a special KL35 clamp attachment. Variants with ventilation slots and designs for wall and ceiling installations using two attachment flaps are also offered. All new SGV housing is available in three different finishes. The freely definable housing parameters as well as the threaded socket height and corresponding positions can be forwarded to the appropriate contact person using the form provided in the Fischer catalogue. Additional mechanical processing, surface treatments and labelling are implemented according to customer specifications.
