Mitsubishi Electric, a recognized world leader in electrics, electronics and automation, has assigned  Şevket Saraçoğlu, to take charge of its operations in Turkey. He has been General Manager of Mitsubishi Electric Turkey Factory Automation Systems Division since 2013 and has become the new president of Mitsubishi Electric Turkey as of April 1, when he took over the office from his predecessor Mr. Masahiro Fujisawa. Mitsubishi Electric Turkey deals with satellite, elevator and escalator, visual data systems, power sources and transportation-based infrastructure projects in addition to its main business fields of HVAC systems, factory automation, robot technologies and CNC mechatronic systems

More than 20 years’ experience with Mitsubishi

Having started his professional career at NETAŞ Nothern Telecom, Mr. Saraçoğlu went on to work at Alarko Holding on textile dyes, dryers and in building automation. He founded a new department in the Korona Group of Companies where he was responsible for cement factory control systems. He acted as the founding partner of Genel Teknik Sistemler (GTS) in 1992 and when GTS became a distributor of Mitsubishi Electric Factory Automation Systems in 1993, Mr. Saraçoğlu began to collaborate with Mitsubishi Electric. Following the acquisition of GTS by Mitsubishi Electric in 2013, he was assigned as the General Manager of Mitsubishi Electric Turkey Factory Automation Systems Division.

Having graduated from Istanbul Male High School, Şevket Saraçoğlu received his B.Sc. degree from the Electrical Engineering department at Istanbul Technical University. He speaks English and German fluently and is married with 2 children.
