On 16.01.2012 Micro-Epsilon Messtechnik GmbH &Co. KG, based in Ortenburg, Germany, named a new Board of Management. After 35 years, Karl Wisspeintner handed the management of the company over to his successor Prof. Dr.-Ing. Martin Sellen who will be responsible for production and development, while recent Deputy CEO Dipl.-Phys. Johann Salzberger will be looking after the company's financial matters.
Martin Sellen has been working as Assistant to the Board for nearly two years and has taken on more and more senior management duties. Previously, Martin Sellen was Head of Development at Micro-Epsilon for 16 years, and he took a decisive role in establishing the current company structure.
At a ceremony in the Redouten Wing in Passau Mr. Wisspeintner presented the symbolic company key to his successors who promised to continue operating the company with the same vision. While Mr. Wisspeintner is giving up operational responsibility for Micro-Epsilon Messtechnik, he will continue working for the company. He is set to take on coordinating Micro-Epsilon Holding and will therefore be at the helm of the group that includes 20 successful companies.
