NXT-Level Image Processing – Now Available

The industrial revolution is underway – and the brand new vision app-based camera families IDS NXT rio & rome strive to play a major role in the midst of it. The first models are already available as design-in samples. Customers can choose between different protection classes (IDS NXT rome comes with IP65/67), sensors and variants with artificial intelligence.

The new models communicate via GigE Vision and are optionally equipped with various CMOS sensors from 1.3 MP to 5 MP. The basic functions of the IDS NXT cameras can be individually extended using vision apps. All models allow image processing "on the edge". This embedded solution reduces the load on the host PC, energy consumption and system costs.
