BCM SENSOR has been manufacturing precision strain gauges for mass production of OIML-C6 load cells. For that purpose, not only precision strain gauges but also these associated products have been in mass production:
- bondable resistors for temperature compensation of zero and span-drift of load cells,
- adhesive for strain gauge bonding, with stress free and very low creep and hysteresis, and
- coating and sealant for protection of strain gauges after curing.
By means of those products, one can install BCM Precision Strain Gauges on 17-4ph steel (i.e., steel 1.4542) sensor elastomers to make OIML-C6 load cells.
The precision strain gauges are also manufactured with resistance ranging from 1k to 4k Ohms.
