Designed for cost sensitive applications, the 6202 Series of strain gage signal conditioning modules from Calex provides precise excitation, amplification and filtering for any strain gage based measurement or control system. Housed in a shielded 25.4 x 50.8 mm case attached to a mounting flange, it is suitable for mounting against a load cell, structural member or backplane. The module provides a fixed +10VDC excitation voltage with up to 30mA current. It can, thus, drive a single 350 Ω load cell/strain gage. The series has a variety of fixed gain options, ranging from 2 to 2965, to meet specific application requirements. The amplifier has a standard 0 to 10VDC output, which is rated at -3 to 15VDC. Extraneous noise is eliminated with the built-in 10Hz two-pole filter. Powered by 24VDC with a range of 18 to 26 V, the module features 0.005%/°C temperature coefficient and ±0.01% linearity.
