The DT7837 ARM-based embedded solution is designed for noise, vibration and acoustic measurement applications and features four high-accuracy 24-bit IEPE sensor inputs. The module provides an ARM Cortex-A8 processor with interfaces for Ethernet, USB host and client as well as a microSD card slot.

Programmers have full access to the open source Linux 3.12 computing platform. Data Translation has released a new generation of stand-alone data acquisition modules. The DT7837 ARM-based embedded solution is designed for noise, vibration and acoustic measurement applications and features high-accuracy 24-bit data acquisition technology. The module provides an ARM Cortex-A8 processor with interfaces for Ethernet, USB host/client as well as a microSD card slot.

Four 24-bit A/D inputs with IEPE sensor support allow simultaneous sampling up to 105.4 kS/s. The ultra-accurate, low-noise measurement data can be further processed on-board in real time. Key features also include 24-bit analog output, tachometer input, digital I/O, as well as various counter and trigger functions.

Programmers have full access to the open source Linux 3.12 computing platform. The computer comes with embedded Debian Linux and loadable kernel modules for the specific measurement features. A range of open source tools are available to enable users to develop their own embedded applications.
