Sensor-Technik Wiedemann is presenting its new T01 temperature transmitter. The device was specially developed for use in commercial vehicles and mobile working machines. It is based on a highly accurate PT1000A temperature element, which is in a welded stainless steel housing. As a result of the high-quality materials used, which are tried and tested in the automobile industry, the transmitter is compatible with a wide range of media and displays a high level of mechanical strength. Particular attention was paid to arising conditions such as vibrations, EMC requirements, thermal stress loads and protection against external influences. The new temperature transmitter possesses E1 accreditation. On the output side, the device incorporates the SAE J1939 protocol and CANopen, whereby 11- and 29-bit identifiers are supported. Electric contact is ensured via a 5-pin M12 plug.
