To enable a robot to act in a situation- and goal-oriented manner, an industrial PC is usually required to process image data. But there is another way: the intelligent, vision app-based IDS NXT cameras are able to carry out the image processing for localising pre-trained objects themselves and trigger commands such as "gripping" and "placing". This makes a PC for "pick and place" unnecessary and enables applications such as the correct positioning of tool parts in a toolbox.

The all-in-one AI system IDS NXT ocean is designed for completely new machine vision applications. Perfectly coordinated workflows and easy-to-use tools ensure that image processing with artificial intelligence becomes manageable for everyone.

The system requires neither special knowledge in deep learning nor camera programming to create and execute individual neural networks. This makes the start into AI-based image processing particularly easy.
