Delivering up to 40,000h of service life in high airflow applications, AMETEK’s fans and blowers are suitable for use in heavy-duty transit buses, construction vehicles, and off-highway equipment. Their electronically commutated brushless DC motors provide virtually maintenance-free operation over time by eliminating brush maintenance and associated motor failure. Multiple or variable speeds can be achieved without the use of dropping resistors, and options include the capability to allow for up to four distinct speed settings. Four standard fan models are offered in 12 and 24VDC input voltages and airflows, depending on style, can exceed 53.8 m3/min. The blowers are offered in 12 and 24VDC input voltages with airflows exceeding 25.5 m3/min. The family also includes a complete metal construction blower for high-temperature and extreme environments. All versions can be customized to satisfy particular application requirements.
