The ST75 Flow Meter from Fluid Components International delivers precise direct mass flow measurement of gases in an easy to install insertion style instrument that requires almost no maintenance over a long life. The meter is suitable for the measurement of CO2 in a variety of industrial applications. The meter is a highly rugged and reliable instrument designed for demanding process industry plant environments. With an extensive set of standard features, it is designed for line sizes from 6 to 51mm. The ST75 provides three unique outputs: the mass flow rate, totalized flow and media temperature. With accuracy to ±1% of reading and ±0.5% repeatability, its design includes media temperature compensation to ensure performance under variable process and plant temperature conditions. Its precision flow element has a no-moving parts design that employs platinum RTD sensors.

3D Printing, or Additive Manufacturing, is becoming a game changer in the manufacturing industry. With new hardware, software and materials, one is now able to print complex parts in a huge variety of dimensions. In our focus on 3D Printing, we present an interesting application on the printing of a Turbine Wheel for a clinic in Ethiopia. Another case study describes the printing of Bronchial Grippers . News on the most recent products include a Large Parts Printer , as well as a new material called Unfilled Nylon . This and lots more in the Jan/Feb issue. Enjoy the first IEN Europe in 2014!
