Norgren, a global market leader in pneumatic motion and fluid control technology, has appointed Ognjen Starovic as managing director of its subsidiary, Thompson Valves. Ognjen will be responsible for leading operational and commercial activities at the company which supplies valves and flow control products to the nuclear, oil & gas, petrochemical and marine sectors.
Starting his career at Norgren in 2004 as part of the IMI Global Graduate Scheme, Ognjen quickly progressed to Market Manager and then Head of Sectors Business at the Buschjost company in Germany before taking up his most recent role as Life Sciences Sector Head for Europe. In Ognjen's time with the company he has led the growth of a number of key accounts globally, while the Life Sciences Sector in Europe grew by 10 per cent over the last year under his leadership.
He commented: "I have always enjoyed finding innovative solutions to problems and this new position will give me the opportunity to do that every day.
