Yamaichi Electronics has further developed the Y-ConRJ45 series, used in a variety of industrial applications, by introducing Y-ConCover-10-E and Y-ConCover-40-E that provide the highest possible EMI protection. The connectors’ plug area contains special contact springs that ensure a reliable connection between the plug and the jack. The contact spring also offers reliable EMI protection and ensures that applications remain protected without interruption even for vibrations and shock of up to 50 g. Sealed to IP 67, IP 68 and IP 69K, the connectors are delivered with the EMC spring already pre-assembled. Developed for the harshest industrial requirements, the Y-ConCover-40-E features a special washer, integrated into its housing, for full EMI protection. This also protects the entire interior area of the plug connector. Both units cover a temperature range from -40 to 120 °C and guarantee continual EMI protection even under vibration. The complete RJ45 EMI product portfolio also includes protection category IP20.
