Modern, external appearance coupled with functional properties are important criteria which place a crucial role when selecting housings to receive printed circuit boards or non-standardised components in the electronics system. To achieve this, Fischer Elektronik has expanded the small aluminium housing area with the practical, visually appealing and attractively designed housing series Tondo. The newly developed, versatile, ergonomically shaped small aluminium housing with integrated interior guide grooves to receive non-standardised printed circuit boards in 1,6 and 1,8 mm material thickness are currently offered in three different standard versions, two surface models (natural colour - and black anodised) and three lengths (50, 80, 100 mm). The special geometry of the housing profiles makes it possible to receive film keyboards or front films. In addition to standard colours (turquoise, erika violet, ultramarine, chimney red and narcissus yellow), it is possible to implement the design strips made of plastic (UL94-V0) integrated into the housing profiles, according to customised colour specifications. Along with the standard models, the housing can be mechanically processed, surface-treated and printed by customer request.
