When it returns to Birmingham's NEC on 30th September to October 1, the annual Sensors & Instrumentation exhibition will be the largest and most comprehensive so far. As the only national show dedicated to sensors and instrumentation, the two-day event will build on the success of the 2013 show, which was described as a 'truly exceptional exhibition' by one exhibitor.

For 2014, floor space has been increased in response to unprecedented exhibitor demand, and visitors attending the event will get the chance to see companies that have successfully exhibited in previous years - some with larger stands than before - alongside a number of brand new exhibitors.

Among the companies who have taken stands this year are: PR Electronics, Huba Control, Michell Instruments, FLIR Commercial Systems, Sterling Sensors, Micro-Epsilon, National Instruments, Bronkhorst, Chell Instruments and GE Measurement & Control. As a result, a wider variety of products will be on show, ranging from sensors and transducers to flow measurement technologies, test equipment, vision systems, connectors and data acquisition solutions.

To enable visitors to get the most from their day, a comprehensive seminar programme will be running alongside the exhibition with knowledgeable speakers discussing a range of relevant topics. Furthermore, Sensors & Instrumentation 2014 will be co-located with the Machine Building show, Micro, Nano, Mems, and TCT Live, with Interplas and PPMA taking place at the same time.

Commenting on the event, Kathryn Ambrose, show organiser, said: "Sensors & Instrumentation has gone from strength to strength and this year promises to be a great show. Not only do we have more exhibitors than ever before, but the co-location will appeal to exhibitors and visitors alike. We look forward to welcoming you to the event!"
