Model 301B Ceramic Pressure Sensors are in mass production by BCM SENSOR, which are manufactured not only of sensor output (Fig. A) but also with signal conditioners (Fig. B).

The 301B sensors in Fig. A are made from a mono-block ceramics of these specifications:

  • measuring ranges from 0~2bar up to 0~600bar, gauge pressure;
  • output sensitivity ≥ 2.5mV/V;
  • accuracy better than 0.5%fs;
  • zero-offset ≤ ± 0.1mV/V;
  • temperature drift of 0.07%fs/°C for both zero-offset and output sensitivity over working temperature range from -40 to +135 °C.

The sensors in Fig. B are developed from the sensors in Fig. A, by integrating signal conditioners of either 10%~90%Vs ratio-matric output (with 3 pins or 3-core flexible flat cable (FFC)) or I2C digital protocol (with 4 pins or 4-core FFC).

In addition, model 301B sensor can also be integrated with a temperature sensor to measure both pressure and temperature of pressure medium. Therefore, the 301B sensors find many applications in process control and automation.
