This absolute encoder from BI Technologies features DAPS (digital angular position sensor) technology, and will be available with multiple output configurations. The encoder has 12-bit resolution over 360° rotation. While the encoder package is similar to industry standard HS35 devices, the absolute encoder features a microprocessor-based design. Numerous output options, including multiple index points, custom coding, and software turns counters, will also be available.
