The first phase of the 137th Canton Fair, with the theme of "advanced manufacturing", kicked off on April 15. As of April 19, 148,585 overseas buyers from 216 countries and regions visited the fair.

The zones for five export advantage industries - home appliances, tools, automotive parts, consumer electronics, general machinery and basic components - each have over 1,000 exhibitors. Zones with high market attention, such as new energy vehicles, industrial automation, smart manufacturing, and new energy, also showcase a large number of new products.
A service robot zone has been introduced for the first time.
This specialized zone features a diverse array of products, including humanoid robots, commercial service robots, educational tools, and entertainment robots, providing a comprehensive snapshot of China’s prowess in the sector. Before the next Canton Fair, which will be held in October and November, buyers can browse a wealth of exhibits online.
