Bodine Electric Company introduces its new WX gearhead in conjunction with its upgraded 34B-frame brushless DC motor. The WX is a new high-torque gearhead built to provide long life and high performance. These gearmotors feature all-steel helical gear trains and synthetic lubricants, allowing the type 34B-WX to produce up to 65% more torque than previous models. The new steel gearing is designed to AGMA 9 standards or higher. The synthetic lubricant in this new gearhead improves efficiency, and allows these gearmotors to operate in a wide temperature range. The WX gearhead is now available with Bodine’s type 34B, TENV, 1/5HP (149 Watts) brushless DC motors.
