New hydrophobic cartridge filters from Gore, for the manufacture of bulk high-purity chemicals used in semiconductor and electronics fabrication, guarantee up to 200% increased flow performance, which can be used to increase process capacity or decrease the number of filters needed. These new filters offer maximum benefit in high-throughput filling, packaging and recirculation systems for high-viscosity fluids, acids, bases, solvents, specialty chemicals. The filters are available in a pore size rating range from 0.1 to 0.03 µm and they incorporate high-flow ePTFE (expanded polytetrafluoroethylene) filtration technology.
