Only 180x180x55mm small, the PicoBox fanless control computer from DSM is well suited for POS/POI and digital signature applications. It is available in 2 variants: one with a low-power Intel Atom N270 processor and a clock frequency of 1.6GHz and one with an AMD GeodeTM LX800 processor with 500MHZ. The housing has space for a 2.5 inch hard disk. A USB 2.0 interface allows the connection of a CD/DVDROM drive. A CF socket makes data storage on a Compact Flash possible.
