Operating under Linux, the WPC-HA handheld PC, from Müller Industrie-Elektronik, is suitable for data logging, transmission and analysis applications by radio (868/916 MHz ISM band), Ethernet connection or USB connection. The transmission range can be up to 300m. The device comes with 128MB memory, which can be expanded using an SD card. Enclosed in ergonomically formed, powder-coated aluminum housing, the PC has a large 320x240 pixel TFT display and four programming keys as standard. An extended version with an integrated printer and custom versions with extra number of programming keys are also available. A user customizable software allows the measured values to be displayed graphically. A data logger function is also included in the software and for analysis and further processing data can be exported in all major database systems.
