ATB Austria Antriebstechnik supplies a complete range of EX-motors in accordance with the IE3 efficiency class as determined in the IEC/EN 60034-30 norm. These environmentally friendly motors will help to reduce the carbon output in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. These motors are available in II 2G Ex de IIC(B) T4 for zone 1, as well in II 2G/D Ex de IIC(B) T4 for zones 1/21 end 1/22. There are also motors available for low ambient temperatures down to -55°C without space heaters. All motors are wound with copper wire, allowing variable speed control with frequency inverters without filters up to 500V net voltage.
