A complete 5-station fabrication center in a single unit, the Kalamazoo Metal Muncher Series MM is designed to deliver versatility, smooth, trouble-free performance and improved productivity in a smaller footprint compared to two separate machines. It includes a punch press, flat bar/plate shear, coper, notcher and angle shear, with an optional round and square shear available. The two-cylinder / two-person operation enables the punch and shear ends to operate separately, independently, or simultaneously at full capacity and full speed. The series features an adjustable stroke length up to 9”, a ram size up to 3”, and easily adapts to accept over-size and special tooling. The punch and die holder are easy to change, and the die block can be removed easily to accept unlimited accessories. The swing-away stripper gives ready access to the ram stem, making punch changing quick and easy. The standard large table gives the user an ideal work area and accepts up to a 48" breakset and large special tooling. Special capacity optional features are also available to increase machine capability.
