Basler introduces the new GigE scout2 camera family with Power over Ethernet (PoE) and a novel color image enhancement concept with advanced color features. These new cameras address applications that are price sensitive. The cameras are primarily equipped with monochrome and color Sony CCD sensors that have resolutions from VGA to 2 megapixels and image capture rates up to 120 frames per second. They feature a compact 29 mm x 44 mm x 85 mm housing with Power over Ethernet functionality. The color models include a novel color fidelity enhancement concept with advanced color features, which makes them fit for color applications.
