The MD630 from Inovance is an advanced general-purpose AC drive. It includes onboard industrial Ethernet, supporting EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and EtherCAT as standard, eliminating the need for additional communication cards. A wide range of feedback modules are also available, enabling closed-loop motor control where required.
Designed for operation in harsh environments, MD630 works at ambient temperatures of up to 60 °C and features coated PCBs, complying with 3C2 and 3S2 environments to minimise downtime in demanding applications.
Built-in diagnostic functions focus on uptime and asset protection, including lifetime monitoring of critical components such as cooling fans, capacitors, and IGBTs, along with predictive maintenance parameters and black-box fault recording. Diagnostic data can be analysed using Inovance’s iFA Drive software.
iFA Drive also supports remote commissioning and monitoring of multiple drives, simplifying setup and ongoing maintenance across larger installations.
