JVL A/S launched the new MAC1004 integrated servomotor is set to offer a new level of performance, efficiency and flexibility for precision motion control in industrial automation. Delivering 1000W of continuous power (peak up to 3000W) in a remarkably small package, the MAC1004 maximizes performance without sacrificing space with its compact 80x80 mm motor size and a new hard- and software design. The motor is designed for 24/7 operation and ensures uninterrupted reliability in demanding applications like high-speed packaging or warehouse systems. It offers flexible protocol options and supports EtherNet/IP, Profinet, EtherCAT and other industrial Ethernet standards, with daisy-chain communications for easy connectivity.
Different power options
A high-speed processor enables precise, rapid control, ideal for high-throughput environments and the absolute multi-turn encoder offers high precision if measurement. This battery-free, self-powered encoder tracks position across power cycles with zero maintenance, ensuring consistent robust accuracy. The new MAC1004 is directly powered from 115 or 230 VAC (optional 320 VDC) and as a standalone integrated servo motor allows machine builders the benefit of much reduced machine wiring in addition to fewer or smaller control cabinets in a typical setup.
Seamless PLC integration
The MAC1004 integrates effortlessly with leading PLCs, including Siemens and Allen-Bradley systems. As a Rockwell Automation Technology Partner, JVL ensures compatibility with Rockwell platforms, but the motor’s open protocol support means it works with any PLC you choose. This flexibility empowers engineers to design systems their way, without being locked to specific PLC vendors.
