Rodriguez provides customers with optimised and personalised solutions, suitable for a wide range of industrial application. RSTK-35 is a tailor-made linear guideway table, part of an upright welding unit for processing various steel profiles. It has been optimized with a number of products selected from the Rodriguez portfolio: a BRH-35 ball linear guideway with two rails, each with two blocks, a 50x10 ballscrew drive with FK5010 ballscrew nut, and a pair of double-row thrust angular contact bearings as the bearing for the ballscrew at the fixing side.
RSTK-35 is vertically installed and moves a Z-axis welding cylinder up and down, with a maximum stroke of 150 mm. The main task of the rail guide table is to counteract the force of the opposite cylinder. This task is performed by the ball screw and especially the ball screw nut – the latter exerts a pressure of up to 50 kN on the counter cylinder. It ensures the positioning accuracy required in this application. The carriages of the recirculating ball bearing, on the other hand, absorb the resulting moment from the welding process. Like all other components, they are selected and dimensioned to ensure a long life. The pair of double-row axial angular contact ball bearings derives the axial force of the spindle nut. The bearings have been specially developed for these applications. Because high axial forces are present in this application, the choice fell on a double-row axial angular contact ball bearing.
