The V 1.40 version of the Java based visualization system M-JVIS gives an open programming interface. The API, which is conformed to the Eclipse plug-in concept, allows for the development of user-specific components directly in Java. The created elements are seamlessly connected into the familiar, purely configurative engineering process. Above and beyond the simple integration the latest version features supplemented basic components, countless new commands and improved flexibility for layout design.
