The Mod. SM60EX is a magnetic encoder certified ATEX (pat.pending) from Elcis for heavy duty applications with the following characteristics: a) 17500 rpm maximum rotating speed of the motor with 1024 pulses resolution, b) maximum resolution 8192 pulses, c) high permissible axial motion of the motor shaft up to ±3 or up to ±15mm (higher upon request), d) high gap between sensor and magnetic ring from 1÷1,9 mm, e) high ambient temperature: -20 ÷ +75 °C (T5) or -20 ÷ +60 °C (T6). The encoder is available with different mechanical fixings, magnetic rings, electronics and signal amplification modules. Just like all the other products from the supplier, the new ATEX magnetic encoder is manufactured in accordance with UL standards and the UNI EN ISO 9001:2008.
