For applications with high demands on the dynamics with small to medium loads, there is now the MLD-FU series of directly driven flat lineair axes. A three-phase, electronically commuted AC synchronous lineair motor is used as the drive. The energized primary part is integrated in the slide; the secondary part with permanent magnets in the base body. The modules are extremely slim, thanks to the reduction of moving masses, made possible by the direct drive. The base body of the linear axis consists of an aluminum press-drawn section onto which a highly dynamic resilient rail system with roller guides is built. Available in lengths up to 400mm, the MLD-FU reaches driving forces up to 600Nm and has a repeat accuracy of ±0.01mm. A wide range of accessories is available such as control units, inductive sensors, hydraulic shock absorbers, prefabricated cable tracks, adapter plates, etc.
