KTR introduced a monitoring system for torque limiters. The electronic monitoring system recognizes the moment, the period of time and the twisting angle of the overload system. This monitoring system is an effective safety element for wind power stations. The adjustment of the interface for integration in the control system control is carried out by the supplier in cooperation with the user. It is possible to retrofit existing overload systems already in the field, too.
