Aged 47, married with twin sons, Claudio Picech is the new Head of Energy Management Division of Siemens Italy. Dual citizenship, Italian and Swiss, Picech graduated in Electrical Engineering with a specialization pursued at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Switzerland. Afterwards, he gains an EMBA at IMD in Lausanne.
He achieves various professional experiences in Switzerland and Sweden with global responsibility that allows him to speak five languages fluently. Picech began his career at ABB, where he developed his skills in the field of Power Generation assuming charges of increasing prestige. The last stop before his arrival at Siemens is Alstom, within the Service Power Generation area, with the role of Managing Director for the Area Center South East Europe / North Africa and for the local Service Center in Italy.
