Nexcom launched a low-cost range of Applied Panel PCs (APPC), available in 8”, 12” and 15” variants. All products in this range incorporate a 4:3 LED touch screen display, industrial motherboard, fan-less design and energy-efficient 1.6 GHz Atom N270 processor. Typical is their APPC 1510T - a 15” panel PC which can support resolutions up to 1024x768 and 350nits of brightness. Other features include built-in dual Ethernet connection, optional WiFi modules, slim x86 based touch terminal and RS485 connection which can provide data transfer rates up to 921.6Kbps. With a flat 5-wired touch screen display and a wide range of power inputs (9V~36V); this rugged Panel PC has an IP65 front panel making it suitable for use in harsh, industrial environments.
