Using Teseo's HBS compressed air distribution system, Electra System has modernized the compressor rooms at Friul Intagli SpA, a leader in the woodworking industry, and Quadrifoglio, a home and office furniture and home decoration producer. By replacing the existing steel pipe network with a distribution systems made of profiled aluminum pipes HBS 110 by Teseo, both customers cut their energy consumption by more than 5%. Considering the current cost of distributed compressed air, at approximately 0.025-0.030 euro per cubic meter, this means annual savings of several tens of thousands of euros.
Savings were guaranteed by the innovative features of Teseo piping: the smooth surfaces of extruded Teseo piping minimizing friction; the lack of leaks ensured by the dual O-ring seal applied to all couplings that connect Teseo profiles; the use of aluminum, which is not subject to oxidation and corrosion.
