Anders Electronics announced the availability of the Fit-PC2i NetTop computer, specifically designed for low-footprint, high-performance industrial and networking applications. One-fourth the size of its nearest competitor, this PC uses 95% less electricity than a standard PC, running at 6-8W and using less than 1W on standby. Packaged in a fanless industrial-grade die-cast aluminium shell, featuring a miniaturized 4” x 4.5” x 1.05” footprint, and weighing a mere 13oz including hard disk, the PC still offers the full-featured computing power required to drive enterprise servers, mission-critical firewalls, and resource-intensive industrial applications.
