Profibus Configurator

With the Profibus configurator integrated into the all-in-one engineering tool SolutionCenter, Bachmann electronic offers a Profibus tool usable under Microsoft Vista. The Profibus configuration can be created without reference to the hardware and subsequently transferred to a real-existing online controller. Profibus is used as a standardized medium for data exchange and for synchronization between the components of distributed automation systems. With the further-developed Profibus configurator, a pure slave configuration for an M1 system can be generated and transmitted very conveniently. In addition, a new device description file can be exported for the configured M1 slave. This file can be taken into the configuration tool of the third-party manufacturer to project the master.
