B&R's RFID units are compatible with ISO 14443 and ISO 15693 enabling easy user identification at the control unit. Fast and secure user identification is possible by simply holding a tag or user ID up to the device, thus ensuring a high level of security. The distance limitation of just a few centimeters from the read/write unit helps prevent unintentional identification of an employee who might be simply passing by. These RFID units ensure a protection level of up to IP69K, can be easily installed and integrated in a switching cabinet door or operating unit housing.
