Semiflex from Schmidt-Kupplung is a torsionallystiff, precise shaft coupling, which is short in length to fi t into small envelopes. Radial shaft misalignment is compensated via pivoting parallel movement of two pairs of coupling links. By design this compensation is free of restoring forces. The all-metal coupling Semiflex Standard F 230 connects the drive shafts of multiple connected assembly units of modular assembly machines-modular chaining.
