In order to securely and accurately record torques, HBM is now also providing the ROBA-DS type shaft coupling for their series T40 torque flanges. The robust shaft coupling compensates for any existing radial, axial or angle offset that may arise when the torque flange is installed. It is characterized by high torsional stiffness and, at the same time, a low mass moment of inertia. As the shaft coupling matches the company’s torque flange, the user is ensured that the torque is correctly applied to the latter.
