Wiesemann & Theis launches its first SPE-capable thermo-hygrometer. The innovative SPE technology enables end-to-end IP communication from the sensor to the cloud. With a combined thermo/hygro sensor, the device records temperature and humidity data, making it available via Single Pair Ethernet (10BaseT1L Full Duplex). Sensor data can be stored in the W&T Cloud on request, processes can be monitored directly in the browser and configurable alarms can be sent to a mobile phone via MQTT message or push notification.
Wide measuring range
The measuring device records values in the range of -40°C...85°C or 0...100% rH and is supplied with power via the data cable (SPoE Class 1). Thanks to low interference emissions, high interference immunity and optional ISO factory and DAkkS/DKD calibration, it is suitable for a wide range of applications in industrial environments and in the (Industrial) Internet of Things. The pioneering SPE technology enables standardized Ethernet communication from the field to management, which makes corresponding gateways obsolete and reduces susceptibility to errors. The enormous transmission length of up to 1000 meters also saves on repeaters; the double-core SPE cables supply peripheral devices with power, which results in slimmer cables overall, more powerful and reliable applications.
