Schaaf's many years of experience in the domain of stud tensions (SSV) is based on the implementation of special-purpose solutions. This elliptical construction enables application in difficult to access areas, such as windmills or other places, where a preload force must be created in a very small space. Through optimization of the design, the durability of all parts can be doubled and some increased by a factor of 6. In addition, safety is increased because an integrated, predetermined breaking point hinders the uncontrolled breaking off of the SSV and the demolished components remain securely in the SSV.
