The HPS Titan N from Hammond Power Solutions (HPS) is a new dry-type three phase encapsulated transformer that fits industrial and harsh environments.
New design and technology
That new line with technological improvements is encapsulated in epoxy and silica so that it is protected from airborne contaminants and ingress of moisture. The electrical performance is improved to 10kV BIL with lower inrush and short circuit currents, and higher impedance. It features a new enclosure design that provides a removable hinged door, a front entry, a texture powder coating and both wall and floor mount on select kVA’s.
Reduced hours of maintenance and installation
The electrical and thermal design improvements allow the use of less costly protective devices and reduce the time spent on installation and maintenance as inrush and short circuit currents are reduced. It is an adaptable transformer thanks to its enhanced thermal performance and a wide range of temperature classes. The transformer is also seismically qualified and O.S.H.P.D certified.
