Hilscher released the netTAP 100 universal gateway, adding more then 70 additional conversions between the real time Ethernet systems, traditional fieldbus’s and serial protocols. The scripting tool netSCRIPT, based on the programming language Lua, was also added and is used to create gateways for custom serial protocols to over 60 different industry standard protocols supported by netTAP, a universal gateway with Master or Slave support for EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, PROFIBUS, EtherCAT, PROFINET, CANopen, PowerLINK, SERCOS III, MB-TCP, Modbus RTU/ASCII, AS-I Master and CC-Link slave along with custom serial protocols.
