The BackPack valve actuator from EFD International improves the productivity of EFD dispense valves, by making them cycle faster. As a result of this increased cycling speed smaller fluid deposits can be produced. This valve actuator mounts the solenoids used to open and close the valve directly on the valve's air cylinder thus achieving valve actuation speeds as short as 5 to 6 milliseconds and cycle rates as high as 800 per minute. EFD dispense valves are used in automated production lines to apply adhesives, lubricants and assembly fluids in accurate amounts.
